STYLING: JEANS AND A SLOUCHY TEE
Jeans and a slouchy tee has to be one of the simplest outfits going but also one of my favourites. I know that this sort of look from me is surprising, but I have to be honest and say 70% of the time this is what you will catch me in. I love quirky trends as much as the next person, but comfort is always key!
I’ll let you into a secret, this Calvin Klein tee is actually from the men’s section, but like I said comfort is key. Slogan tees are my favourite for off-duty styling. They’re so easy and effortlessly cool. This Calvin tee was literally made to create
I actually picked up this tee in white as well because I loved it so much. Calvin Klein also does a black version of this tee. I would be lying if I said I wasn’t tempted to get the other colour but for now two of these tees are enough.
A slouchy fitting t-shirt is one of the most versatile pieces you can buy because surprisingly can be styled in quite a few ways. I am personally quite a fan of a tie to the front. I sized up and got a medium so it would look a little more relaxed as this will make everything appear more effortless.

Tucking everything in really helps to cinch in your middle.
I’m partial to a tuck at the best of times, especially when the top is oversized. As I have some curves, I always try to highlight my waistline. Tucking everything in really helps to cinch in your middle. Another little tip to feminise this men’s tee is rolling the cuffs. It’s a small trick that turns shapeless short sleeves into cap sleeves that fit a little better.

Normally I like to stick to black jeans, my classic go-to. Since this tee is navy and I didn’t fancy that clashing fashion faux-pas, light wash just had to do. Even though blue jeans are a favourite of mine, I do like this tonal vibe between the denim and the tee (even though my black belt did stick out a bit).
I simply accessorised this look with one of my trusty biker jackets from Forever 21. The white tone of the jacket went so well with the slogan on the tee. Normally, I would wear this without the jacket but with it being winter, beggars can’t be choosers. I picked up this jacket the year before in Vegas and it made a huge impact on my wardrobe ever since.

In keeping with the white theme, I slipped on a pair of matching ankle boots. If I’m running errands, I would normally just put on a pair of trainers with this look but for meeting up with the girls or a day out these boots are the better option.
