SIMPLE STATEMENT STYLING
Recently I purchased these fab trousers after developing a serious obsession with them after my Valentine’s Day Dreamin’ post and I just couldn’t resist. I’ve been constantly wearing these trousers since they arrived, it’s not often you get a piece of clothing that is so versatile! I’ve been wearing these around the house with a baggy shirt, dressed up with a bodysuit and heels and then obviously like this outfit, smasual.
There is something so effortless about these tapered ‘jogger-styled’ pants, the colour and fit screams office wear while the drawstrings make it achievable to wear casually. I’ve paired them with my favourite button up from Boohoo, I tucked it in to be able to show off the drawstrings. I personally love the monochromatic colour schemes with hints of grey, it feels very minimal and refreshing.
Accessorising my white shirt is a silver statement necklace, I strongly believe that every white shirt with an appropriate neckline should be glammed up with a statement necklace. The neckline of this shirt leaves an empty space of skin without the necklace, asides from filling the space it dresses up the look matching the top to heels at the bottom.
Of course I had on hand my Mulberry Bayswaters which pairs perfectly with the leather biker jacket. Biker jackets will never get old, they always make an outfit look a little edgy and the harsh contrast to the pure white blouse is what style dreams are made of!
Finishing the whole look off are these cute courts, it’s the first time I’ve worn them! For some reason on camera they have bluey tones but they are much more a grey colour. These heels make this look super transitional from day to night and by baring the top of the foot they aid in showing off the cropped cut of the trousers.
