SIXTIES, STYLE & SUN
The best part about going on holiday is the clothes shopping you have to do before hand and since I had lost weight I had no clothes suitable so I had to do a mass shop – not that I was complaining! Again I turned to Boohoo with their amazing end of summer sale where pracically everything was under £20.
Also I couldn’t resist not taking full advantage of the gorgeous scenery of Kos and using our balcony as a backdrop!
This amazing Abercrombie & Fitch printed kimono was a present from my parents when they came back from LA and it is so perfect just to throw over an outfit in a evening breeze. The black and white print is so lovely and manages to add interest to any block colour outfit without being a statement.
The chic white mesh playsuit is styled with an elastic waist which gives the piece a casual ‘overall’ look which can be a transitional item from day to night, depending on accessories. Also the bottom half has an under layer which is a must have for all white garments so there is no panty lines and I didn’t have to feel self conscious wearing it out.
I had to pair this look with my trusty Ray Ban Wayfarers since the sun was far too strong and I was continuously squinting without them. I have two pairs of sunglasses but I swear almost all year round I have these on top of my head, they suit any outfit especially this monochromatic sixties-inspired look.
Another holiday purchase which I have made is these gorgeous Converse Ox’s which I have been wearing all throughout my holiday because they are so comfy and just go with everything. They manage to tone down all outfits and throw it back to the summer 2014 athletic trend.
