10 IDEAS FOR SECRET SANTA GIFTS
With these Secret Santa ideas, you’re going to struggle to keep your identity as the best gift-giver under wraps.
Shopping for Christmas gifts can quickly become difficult but Secret Santa shopping is the hardest of all.
It can be a pretty stressful experience knowing what to get someone you either know very well or perhaps not too well at all. Plus, if you’re anything like me, I feel like I’m the best gift-er going and even if I’m anonymously gifting I want it to be the best. I’ve been on the receiving end of some pretty uncreative Secret Santa gifts and I’m sure I’m not the only one, so keep scrolling to get some inspiration of how to be the best gifter of the season.
1 A PERSONALISED BEAUTY BOX
A ‘beauty box’ is one of my favourite ideas for Christmas gifts this year and it’s super affordable to create. I’m sure you’ve received a Christmas hamper as gifts over the years, so just imagine this Secret Santa idea as a hamper, but for the face.
The best way to create a beauty box is to keep an ear to the floor and ask the right questions to find your recipient’s skincare woes. Once you know what products interest them you can start getting your hamper together. If they struggle with dull dry skin, pack them up with vitamin E products and hydrating sheet masks.
The beauty of this idea, as I said, is it can be as affordable as you like. Drugstores often have 3 for 2 deals on skincare and miniature products so whatever the budget, you can create something personal and special.
2. A MUG FOR A…
If your recipient loves tea as much as I do, a quirky mug is sure to be a winner. While it may sound simple, little gestures like a mug go a long way and will be cherished during the freezing winter.
This is one of the most affordable items on this list, costing you as little a £4 but it doesn’t have to look cheap. Just head to your local shop and fill it with a mini bottle of gin and some chocolate coins and you’ll have one happy person.

3. QUIRKY STATEMENT ACCESSORIES
Now, if you’re lucky enough to know your Secret Santa person pretty well, you could be brave and pick an accessory.
If you are thinking of doing this it’s important to know what style to go for. Obviously, don’t buy a cow print bag for a minimalist.
The best part of this is that you can really take a stab at accessing their personal style and finding anything that may suit. This option can be cost-effective depending on where you decide to shop.
Top tip: Try and find out their favourite shops early on. Maybe even ask to compare your wishlists on the sly!

4. THE PERFECT ALTERNATIVES FOR A CHAMPS LOVER
It’s so easy to fall into just giving alcohol as
I’m a sucker for a good glass and trust me, they won’t cost half as much as you expect. The ones in the photograph came as a set of four and only cost £12 last year!

5. SOLVE ALL OF THEIR ISSUES
Magazine subscriptions are such a great gift to give at Christmas. It’s when most of us are lacking money, so to know that you’ve got something paid for, for at least 6 months in advance is lush.
Most subscriptions are around £15 and around this time of year, a lot of the big names like Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar come with gifts too.
I RECOMMEND EITHER BUYING THE MAGAZINE IN
6. AN AESTHETICALLY PLEASING COFFEE TABLE BOOK
Coffee table books are all the rage in the interior design world, so if your Secret Santa choice likes design then this could be a lush gift.
You can get loads of hardback books online for a very good price, ranging from cooking to fashion. I’ve even managed to snag a limited-edition Alexander McQueen hardback for £19, so feel assured you can get some great deals.
The best part about getting coffee table books as gifts is that they look super chic and expensive, so your Secret Santa name will definitely be impressed.

7. A FESTIVE LIP KIT FOR THE CHRISTMAS PARTY
You can’t have a gift list without acknowledging makeup. For many British girls, it’s hard to get your hands on Kylie Cosmetics so why don’t you impress the bunch with a Kylie Lip Kit?
It may seem like a bit of an expense, however, if you’re also wanting to get a kit or two for yourself, this is a great idea. Kylie Cosmetics often have discounts or deals on their site which more than covers the delivery costs so it’s not as much of an expense as you think.
I have a number of these lip kits and I can guarantee the quality of them. I’ve ordered online and paid the shipping, picked them up when I’m in LA and had family members bring me shades back, and I promise you they’re worth it.
8. A SET FOR THE MAKEUP JUNKY
In keeping with the makeup theme, a great kit for a beauty lover is a set of makeup brushes.
Makeup brush kits range in price, but often at Chr
I personally love the Fenty gift sets, I ended up buying a few after Christmas last year in the sale just because I could.

9. SUITABLE FOR A SUSTAINABLE SKINCARE LOVER
It wouldn’t be one of my posts if I didn’t have at least one sustainable product.
It feels like this year has been a huge turning point for being eco and understanding what we put out into the world. Hence, why these eco-friendly makeup removing pads are a must. So, if your Secret Santa cares for the environment but also likes makeup, these pads are a fab choice for a gift.
You get two types of pads for normal or tough cleansing, both which can easily be washed.

10. FOR THE GAL THAT’S ALWAYS LATE
This is the gift for someone like me who always ends up being late.
It’s a great gift to get a co-worker who pushes the clock or a super disorganised friend that could do with a pick-me-up. Also, it’s a great time of the year to gift a diary as the New Year is right around the corner.
This diary retails at £28 but you can find stylish ones for as little as £7.
